Over the years, I refined this into the more serious assertion that life is not a balance between what you "want" to do and what you "have" to do, but rather a journey where you try to enjoy everything.

And enjoy I did...

So well, in fact, that at an impossibly young age I became the go-to vacation planner for my family and friends. I even ventured into communication and promotion when, at age 14, I created the following video to persuade my extended family of 12 that we should vacation in California.
